Ponycob Cottage

The Cardigan Bay coastline and countryside attractions of Ceredigion are both close to Ponycob Cottage, a converted farm building on a 35-acre smallholding. The cottage itself is a comfortable four-sleeper with two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, and a ground-floor living space arranged around a woodburner. A private hot tub sits in the enclosed garden, accessed via a patio with furniture.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. Wood for the burner is provided to start with, and the essentials—heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels—are covered. One dog can stay free, and there is a shared fenced exercise field nearby with a picnic bench. The property suits adults and children aged 14 and over; younger guests are welcome only as babies in arms. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Access to the cottage is via two steps, and the grounds include some drops, so worth knowing before you book. There is parking for three cars. The smallholding overlooks a pond with ducks and other wildlife, and the peace of rural life is the everyday soundscape here.
