Rickyard Cottage

Rickyard Cottage is a period stone building with character details that set it apart—a minstrel's gallery overlooks the main living space, a cartwheel light hangs from the ceiling, and stone-arched windows frame views across farmland. The cottage sits on a small estate just over a mile from the Ceredigion coastline, with direct access to shared grounds that include countryside trails, a heated outdoor swimming pool (open late May to September, 9am to 6pm), and a tennis court.

The three bedrooms sleep six: a king on the ground floor with ensuite shower, two singles with ensuite on the first floor, and two more singles upstairs with just a toilet. There's also a separate bathroom with bath and shower. The open-plan ground floor has a wood burner, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and glazed doors opening onto a southwest-facing patio with built-in barbecue. Electricity, bed linen and wifi are included.

The enclosed gardens and sitting areas face the farmland; the pool and tennis court are shared facilities. New Quay and Llangrannog, both with restaurants and boat trips, are a short drive away. No smoking inside the cottage.
