The Chapel Barn stands on the edge of a wooded valley in west Wales, surrounded by meadows near the hamlet of Penrhiwllan. A short walk away, the Daffodil pub and restaurant serves locally brewed ales and Welsh food, with a village shop also nearby. Llandysul and Newcastle Emlyn are both within easy reach for further shops and dining, while Cardigan Bay's beaches and coves lie about 25 minutes' drive away. The River Teifi runs through the area, known for salmon fishing, and the valley offers cycle routes, the Teifi Valley Railway, and a canoe centre at Llandysul itself.
The barn has been converted to provide two bedrooms and one bathroom across mostly one level. Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space connects to a double bedroom with Freeview TV and an ensuite shower room. Upstairs, a mezzanine room holds two single beds. The kitchen is fitted for full self-catering with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; a travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request. A covered terrace with garden furniture overlooks the grounds, and there is private parking for one car. No smoking throughout.

What an amazing place. So lucky to have found this idyllic character cottage in South West Wales. If you have the opportunity to book, then do it. The hosts, Mike and Lena, are so welcoming and if you need anything, they are so willing to help which made our stay a perfect one. There is so much to see in the area, including the stunning beaches, local pub, The Daffodil and the excellent local shop. We are so looking forward to going again and will recommend to all friends and family. Stan and Family.

A wonderful holiday cottage. Peaceful location, but easy to find off the main road. Lovely decor and very well equipped. Has everything you could need for a relaxing break. Bed is very comfortable and the bedroom is a cosy den. The hosts are lovely, very helpful and even provided welcome treats. Highly recommended.

Its not often that we go somewhere and find there is nothing that does not meet our expectations. The owners have done a great job of making it a delightful, comfortable place to relax in the quiet countryside of wales. And the WiFi was Fantastic!
