Y Bwthyn is a single-bedroom cottage in Llanrhystud, a village on the Ceredigion coast. The building has been updated while keeping its original character, and sits within walking distance of a shingle beach with a half-mile sandy stretch. The Black Lion pub is less than a mile away, and the village has a café; walkers can pick up the Wales Coast Path from here.
Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen and living room with a smart TV and electric fire. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge, breakfast bar and washing machine. A back garden with patio furniture and seating area faces the cottage. Upstairs, the double bedroom (4ft 6in bed) also has a smart TV, and the bathroom combines a bath with an over-shower. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed, and there is bike storage for exploring the coast. No smoking.
The cottage is yours alone for the duration of your stay, and one pet can stay free. Aberaeron, seven miles away, is worth a day trip. The coast path from Llanrhystud stretches 14 miles to New Quay, passing through terrain rich in history and heritage.
