Warmingham is a quiet village in the heart of Cheshire, positioned between the gentle farmland of the county and the moors and peaks beyond. Forge Masters Cottage sits on the edge of working land here, converted from an old barn and the larger of two properties on the site. It sleeps five across three bedrooms—a single on the ground floor and a double plus two singles upstairs—with two bathrooms, one featuring a walk-in shower and the other a bath. The ground floor holds the living and dining spaces in one room, a fully equipped kitchen, and that shower room. Upstairs, characterful sloping ceilings and exposed beams define the two further bedrooms. Parking for two cars is on site.
The cottage comes with electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi included. The kitchen is set up for self-catering, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. No smoking is permitted inside.
Within an hour's drive are Liverpool, Manchester, and Chester, while the Peak District National Park, Offa's Dyke and the North Wales coast lie under 90 minutes away. Family attractions—Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks, Alton Towers—and historic sites including Tatton Park and Beeston Castle sit within 30-60 minutes' reach. Delamere Forest and various gardens and museums add further options for days out.

Forge Mill Farm cottage was an amazing place to stay and I would definitely recommend staying there. The cottage is charming with a homely feel to it. It is located in a beautiful area that is ideal for exploring the delights of Cheshire. I had an absolutely brilliant stay and I was able to spend time with the friendly owners Susan, John and Simon who made me feel very welcome.
