Brook House Farm Cottage is a detached farmhouse with exposed beams, built to sleep eight across four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has an ensuite; the other three share the main bathroom, which has both a bath and shower. The fourth bedroom contains two single beds, useful if you're bringing children or need flexible sleeping arrangements. Bed linen and towels come as standard, along with wi-fi and heating.

Downstairs, the living room has a woodburner and French doors opening to the garden; the dining room does the same. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. You have parking for three cars on site. The half-acre garden is lawned and enclosed, with patio seating and a barbecue. In the garage you'll find a table tennis table and mini football game. The property sits on a working farm in Cheshire countryside, a mile from the nearest shop and pub. Nantwich is seven miles away; Chester, the Peak District and North Wales are all within an hour's drive. No smoking indoors.

This is a well presented cottage, well equipped and perfectly situated for nearby market towns and attractions, Owner is very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, making us feel very welcomed. Would definitely go back.

Nice fancy house. Very clean. View is great. Got free ASMR from the cows in the field next to us. Their was a robin and a magpie that frequently visited so I gave them a cracker. Stayed with my family. Feels very formal , I think it needs more personality inside. I appreciate the biscuits but perhaps it would be more useful to have a bit of milk in the fridge instead. The dining room chairs need felt ends on the legs because they are very loud on the floor. Unfortunately they put away the ping pong table. Also there is no cabinets in the bathrooms so there's nowhere to put toiletries discretely. The owner put a red cone out for us so we would know where the driveway was but they removed it the next day so we didn't know when to turn and we went straight past and had to do a 10 minute detour. Found the cone in the garden and put it back. Heating system was automatic and we didn't know how to turn it off. Also most places have a review book to make comments but this is the first place I've visited that didn't have one.

Lovely holiday cottage. Very clean on arrival, large kitchen diner big enough for 7/8 adults. Large lounge with big comfy settees for after dinner naps. Rural location with nice outdoor space. Excellent for a family get together.
