A shop, pub and restaurant are within half a mile, along with playing fields and a children's playground. The market town of Malpas, with its Norman motte and bailey, lies three miles away. From here you can reach Chester and North Wales easily enough.

Tadpole Cottage is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom property sleeping four. Downstairs has a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a guest bedroom with zip-and-link beds and ensuite shower. Upstairs, the open-plan living space contains a 50-inch smart TV and a kitchen fitted with electric oven, hob and dishwasher. The second bedroom is also configured with zip-and-link beds, served by a shower room. Oil underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the patio comes with garden furniture and a private hot tub. There is parking for three cars, and a bike store available on request.
