Copperbeech Bowtop
Cheshire West and Chester
Copperbeech Bowtop is an original Romani wagon, recently restored and furnished as a bedroom, positioned beside a handcrafted oak-frame lodge on a sloping field. The wagon itself is compact—a double bed takes up most of the space—but the real living happens next door. The lodge contains an open-plan ground floor with a woodburner, dining area, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. A shower room and heated towel rail complete it. Initial logs for the burner and charcoal for the barbecue are provided, along with wi-fi, bed linen, towels and all utilities.
Outside, a patio garden overlooks the orchard and woodland beyond. A stream runs through the grounds, with informal picnic spots cleared among mature trees. The site is secluded—no other holiday lets here—yet a pub sits within a mile. Parking is 15 metres from the accommodation. This setup suits couples wanting rural quiet without sacrificing comfort, or anyone drawn to the idea of sleeping in a heritage wagon while retaining proper facilities. The combination of Romani character and modern lodge amenities means you can wake in something genuinely unusual, then make coffee in a proper kitchen. No smoking is permitted on the property.
