The Hen House at The Old Parsonage
Cheshire West and Chester
View on Google MapsCotebrook is a quiet Cheshire village with two pubs serving food and a working shire horse centre just five minutes' walk away. The Hen House at The Old Parsonage is a single-storey converted cottage on the owners' grounds, renovated several years ago. It has its own entrance and parking, and everything you need is on one level: a bedroom with a kingsize bed and child's single, an ensuite shower, and an open-plan living space with kitchen and dining area that opens onto a private courtyard.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, hob and dishwasher. Freeview TV and DVD player are in the living area. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included. There is an unfenced pond in the shared grounds. A highchair can be provided on request. The village is two miles from Tarporley, known for independent shops and restaurants, and the same distance from a farm shop and restaurant. Delamere Forest and several castles are roughly 20 minutes' drive; Chester and its zoo are about 30 minutes away. The Sandstone Trail starts locally for walkers. No smoking inside.
