We had a fab stay at these cute lodges to celebrate my birthday! Loved the sheltered hot tub, suitable for all weather conditions! Great location for a trip to the Fishpool Inn too, just a short walk away. We also headed to the forest the day after , a short drive away. The pods were warm and cosy, and you can park close by to carry your stuff into the cabin. Loved it!

Compact and clean. Perfect for couples, close to great pubs (in walking distance). The pods are not too close together, and you get your own hot tub which is rare. Just enough for two people, with heater and loads of storage for your luggage. Perfect location for a chilled break.

Booked a Pod with hot tub for Friday 12 August 2022. Arrived in the evening and were greeted by a polite staff member who showed us to where we would be staying. After a tour of the facilities, we discovered the bed/mattress wasn’t sufficiently cleaned, leaving stains ect that were off putting for a nights stay. Coupled with the intrusion of other guests sitting within 2 metres of the door to our pod we decided to leave the keys on the table and leave. For £110 a night we did expect better. Can’t fault the staff we met or the area however, the Pod wasn’t as described (clean).

Overall I just think the pods are overpriced for what you get. The pods are completely bare bones which I wouldn’t mind for a more reasonable price. The “fire pit” is just a rusty bucket. The jacuzzi was lovely until we turned off the bubbles and realised there was all sorts floating in it including someone’s toe nail. The bathroom facilities were very clean and the area is absolutely beautiful but unfortunately the price is just not justified.
