What visitors say

Jan Schapira

Superb venue for all sorts of fabulous art and music events. As a converted chapel, it has bags of character and a great atmosphere. The bar is open independently most days and is worth a visit on its own for a light lunch or a cuppa with friends. Highly recommended.

Wonderful performance by the Handlebards, a travelling Shakespeare troupe. The theatre gardens were perfect for an intimate audience and the cafe provided delicious ice cream!

Roderick O'Connor

this was a very enjoyable high quality evening in all aspects. The music performed was highly polished and always stimulating. The dancers were superb, precise and coordinated, unhurried but full of emotion. The staging in the round was a great idea too. It was the first time seeing flamenco dancers not trying to look too stern, but instead enjoying their space and movement.

Fantastic concert at The Horton - Violin on Fire! A superb standard of music. Felt very honoured to have such talent perform locally.
