What visitors say
This is an oasis. A quiet rural site in south west London. Customer service from the staff has been very good enabling us to stay more nights than we intended. Lovely nature reserve near by and very easy to commute to places of interest. We had originally come to go to Wimbledon. Easy to catch the train from Hersham to Wimbledon. Maybe a 25 min easy flat walk to the station. Bus routes also nearby. If you have bikes then the cycle street app gets you easy routes to places eg we cycled to Hampton Court Palace on quiet roads. We so like this place that we are now going to the women’s World Cup cricket at The Oval. Straight through train to Vauxhall from Hersham. You can also go straight to Waterloo for London attractions. There is no shower block so own facilities needed but this keeps the price down so no problem for us. Electric is available. Will definitely be back!

Absolute scam. Booked two nights on this camping site. After booking and paying, we got the information to bring our own toilet. As we arrived to check if it is true or not a lady told us to go and buy a toilet or we can't stay. We refused and asked for a refund. She told us because we didn't read the mail properly she can't pay back our money (about 94 pounds!) After a short argument we were assured that we will get back the money we paid before!!!! getting the mail with the information of bringing our own toilet! Make sure you bring a toilet and to read the mails with important informations after you already payed a lot of money. We found a much better place to stay and even found out that this is a common thing to do.. Mh. And last but not least: we didn't get the refund until this day.

It’s a great location if you have bikes on your motorhome. It’s a nice quiet site and great for cycling around the area ( Hampton Court, Richmond Park). There is no toilet/shower block so you need to be self sufficient, but that does mean it’s cheaper and that there are usually pitches available.

Location is wonderful, but facilities they have are very few. No place to leave rubbish so we had to take it with us on holiday, not ideal. Also there are no showers.
