Farthing

Farthing is a converted cottage set at ground level across Farthing Downs, near Coulsdon in the North Downs. The whole property is yours alone, with its own entrance and private parking for one car. Everything essential is provided: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi.

The layout gives you an open-plan living and dining area with a smart TV and double sofa bed, a kitchen with gas oven and hob, dishwasher, two fridge-freezers and tumble dryer, and a patio leading out from the bi-fold doors. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a three-quarter double bed, one with a full double—and a bathroom with bath and shower. The combination of outdoor space and equipped kitchen means you can cook as much or as little as you like, and there is room to spread out across the floors.

The surrounding grassland includes walking and cycling trails with views towards the London skyline. Coulsdon's Market Place has a regular Thursday market, farmers' markets and antique fairs, while the High Street and independent shops are a short distance away. The Rainbow Leisure Centre has a gym, swimming pool and indoor bowling. No smoking indoors.
