What visitors say
Lovely site only a few minutes from the motorway. Clean and modern toilet blocks and the site is attractive with mature trees throughout. We were held up on the motorway and arrived a little late but the wardens waited for us and reassured us not to worry on the final bit of our journey which was such a relief and we were very grateful. Lots to do in the surrounding area.

Pitches are gravel and plenty of room per pitch. Showers were hot and powerful (or cool if wanting to cool down from recent hot weather) Location is perfect if wanting to go to Chester, Zoo or Cheshire Oaks.

We love this site , lovely staff, very clean and tidy, fantastic location short walk to Cheshire oaks shopping. Brilliant pub Rake Hall next door, best staff ever and lovely food. Catch bus to Chester or Liverpool

Its a nice enough site with great access to Chester, Liverpool and Cheshire Oaks and i cant fault the facilities, but if you just want to stay there and fancy a nice walk or something there is just nothing to do. Its on a 40mph road with no pavement that the locals speed through as a rat run through to Chester. The motorway is very nearby and there is quite a bit of noise from there at peak hours. Overall if you want to visit chester or cheshire oaks then its great, but if you want to just stay and relax with some walks go somewhere else thats a bit less urban. Also our pitch was quite water logged after some rain, but im guessing thats less of an issue in the summer months.
