About Chester Fairoaks Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Chester Fairoaks sits four miles north of the city centre at Little Stanney, just off the M53 – a level, open site ringed by mature oaks with ninety-six touring pitches, almost all hardstanding with electric hook-up. The big practical advantage is location: Chester itself is a short bus ride away, Chester Zoo barely ten minutes north, and the Cheshire Oaks outlet centre closer still. The A55 and Welsh border are within easy reach, making this a useful staging post for North Wales as much as a city base. The Shropshire Union Canal runs a mile away for flat walking and cycling, and two pubs sit within easy reach of the gate.

As a Caravan and Motorhome Club site, facilities are consistent – heated shower blocks, family washroom, laundry, motorhome service point, wifi and a children's playground. Dogs are welcome year-round with a dedicated exercise area. Open all year, it's one of the few reliable winter options around Chester, handy for Christmas market trips when most other sites have shut.

Lovely site only a few minutes from the motorway. Clean and modern toilet blocks and the site is attractive with mature trees throughout. We were held up on the motorway and arrived a little late but the wardens waited for us and reassured us not to worry on the final bit of our journey which was such a relief and we were very grateful. Lots to do in the surrounding area.

Its a nice enough site with great access to Chester, Liverpool and Cheshire Oaks and i cant fault the facilities, but if you just want to stay there and fancy a nice walk or something there is just nothing to do. Its on a 40mph road with no pavement that the locals speed through as a rat run through to Chester. The motorway is very nearby and there is quite a bit of noise from there at peak hours. Overall if you want to visit chester or cheshire oaks then its great, but if you want to just stay and relax with some walks go somewhere else thats a bit less urban. Also our pitch was quite water logged after some rain, but im guessing thats less of an issue in the summer months.

Lovely site - well Maintained by helpful wardens. 1ins walk to bus stop to both Chester and Liverpool. Pubs within 5 and 10 mins walk away but no pavements. Would definitely recommend
