The Jays

The Jays works well for families or small groups wanting a genuine break from bustle rather than a party destination. The house has three bedrooms – a king, a double, and two singles – plus two bathrooms, giving enough space for six people to spread out comfortably. A sitting room with a Smart TV and separate dining area occupy the ground floor, while the kitchen handles proper cooking with a gas hob, electric oven and dishwasher. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi are covered. No smoking indoors.

The property sits a few hundred metres from Selsey's coastline, in a spot where you can walk to beach access. A scuba school operates nearby, and horse riding is available along the shore. The RNLI Selsey Lifeboat Station is close by if you're interested in that side of coastal life. Locally there's golf and some bicycle hire in the village. The garden is enclosed and lawned, with a patio and barbecue, and you get parking for two cars plus roadside space if needed. A bike store is on-site. Children under five are not accommodated except infants. One pet is allowed.
