About The Kings Hotel
The Kings Hotel occupies an 18th-century townhouse of local Cotswold stone directly on The Square in Chipping Campden, with fourteen individually designed rooms in the main house and five further cottage-style rooms set across a well-tended garden.
Food is a particular strength here: the Jackrabbit Restaurant holds an AA Rosette for its modern British menu, while the more relaxed Brasserie Bar, with its log burner, serves everything from morning coffee to dinner.
A private car park is a genuine convenience in a town where street parking is limited, and the hotel's central position puts the Cotswold Way, the Market Hall and St James' Church all within a few minutes on foot.

The hotel is brilliantly presented and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They allowed us an early check in as we had a wedding that day to attend and the room was free before hand. The bedroom was well furnished and clean, although very warm. The heating was on full blast! The only criticism I have of the room was there weren't any plug sockets by the bed to charge a phone. Instead they were on the floor at the other end. The breakfast was great, pouched eggs had to be the best I've had yet. However serving breakfast on a black plate is not for everyone. Yuk!

We didn’t stay but we have just eaten the most gorgeous Sunday lunch. Such a lovely atmosphere, lovely and clean. Staff were super friendly and the roast dinner was the best I have eaten out in a long while. The roast potatoes were delicious! Patrizio deserves a special mention...really welcoming, friendly and funny. Thank you all very much

The restaurant would be rated higher but the venue as a whole lost points based upon our room. The restaurant food was very nice with good size portions. The staff in the restaurant, bar and hotel were all very friendly and polite. The room we stayed in however could use more lighting and was very hot even with the windows fully open. It was also quite noisy as it was above the kitchen and a/c units. We would stay again but would ask for a different room.

Had a champagne afternoon tea here for Mother's day and while the food was very nice the price was far too high for what we received (£70 for two people). The service was slow and the tea was your basic twining tea bag and there were no tea options. Definitely not worth the money when compared to local tea rooms offering the same or more for a much lower price.
