Devin Lodge

Devin Lodge sits on the banks of the River Devon near Dollar, a village at the foot of the Ochil hills. The whole lodge is yours for the stay, with everything on one level: a spacious open-plan living and dining area with French doors onto decking, a fully fitted kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a kingsize bed with ensuite shower; the other has twin singles. The main bathroom offers both bath and shower.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. You have private parking for two cars, an enclosed garden, and access to game fishing on the River Devon, normally stocked with trout; salmon migrate upstream via a weir about 100 yards away each October. The village of Dollar, a 10-minute walk away, has pubs, a restaurant, deli and shops. Within 15 minutes' drive are several golf courses. One dog stays free, and a travel cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking throughout the property.
