Couples and small groups wanting their own space will find GlenBeagles Lodge a self-contained retreat within the grounds of a luxury resort. The entire property is yours alone: a single bedroom with a king bed, one bathroom, and an open-plan living and dining area all on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, while the decking outside offers garden furniture and views across the fields. Wi-Fi, heating, linen and towels are included; parking for two cars is on site.
The setting suits those drawn to the Perthshire countryside. Dollar, a historic town, lies within walking distance and has traditional cafés and access to Dollar Glen's woodland walks. Stirling is a short drive away, as are Glasgow and Edinburgh. Nearby, Gleneagles itself operates golf courses, a spa, restaurants and other leisure facilities available to guests. The lodge is adults only, and one dog may stay free of charge. No smoking indoors.

The best hotel in the world, no contest. It’s never let me down. Fabulous breakfast, Andrew Fairley is exquisite, and what a spa. Activities are endless (if a little expensive) and the padel, off road driving etc are top notch. Rooms and communal areas are such high quality. Couldn’t improve a thing

My stay at Gleneagles Hotel was absolutely exceptional! The hotel impresses with its elegance, beautiful interiors, and outstanding service. The staff are professional, friendly, and pay attention to every detail, making you feel truly special from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The restaurants serve delicious food, and the breakfasts are a real treat. The fantastic spa, numerous activities, and stunning surroundings make the experience even more memorable. This is a place I would definitely love to return to and would highly recommend to anyone looking for luxury and unforgettable experiences. Definitely a 10/10!

5 Stars – Iconic for Good Reason, Exceptional in Every Way The hotel delivered on every expectation its legendary reputation sets. The staff struck the perfect balance of professional and warm, and the atmosphere captures a quiet luxury that feels simultaneously like a relaxed country estate and the elegant grandeur of the 1920s. Every detail was supremely well-executed and cared for. The activities alone are worth noting — varied and plentiful, ranging from archery and off-roading to falconry. And while I’m not a golfer, the course looks genuinely world-class. There’s something telling about a property so celebrated for one thing being able to deliver at the highest level across everything else entirely. For the design-conscious guest, the investment in quality and attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. One standout example: new carpet milled deliberately with a worn pattern, preserving the authentic, aged character of the space while still delivering something fresh underfoot. The bronze floor lamps — solid, standing eight feet tall — feel as though they were cast during the very era the hotel was born from. Nothing here feels accidental. Whether you’re seeking a quiet romantic escape or an active outdoor weekend, this property wraps it all in an uncompromising aesthetic and service that embraces you at every turn. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed at Gleneagles for our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful weekend. Booking through FHR was a great call — we received a room upgrade, £70 F&B credit, and 4pm checkout, effectively giving us an extra day. The place is incredible, with tons of activities on offer. Clay shooting with Ian was a highlight, and the whisky tasting was a nice touch. We also did a self-guided walk; the views and atmosphere were stunning, though the path could use a bit more maintenance. The spa is amazing too, with a fantastic outdoor heated pool. Strathearn was our favourite restaurant — fabulous setting and arguably the best meal we've ever had. The Birnam is a step down but still very good and more affordable. The Garden Café is pleasant but limited for light lunches, and service was inattentive (we asked four times for water). The American Bar is superb — incredible cocktails. Breakfast (buffet and à la carte, no extra charge) is top-notch — the eggs Benedict were outstanding. The staff are extremely friendly, though internal communication could improve — requests confirmed with Guest Experience didn't always reach reservations. A small thing in an otherwise memorable stay. We'll certainly be back!
