What visitors say
My first visit to the Mercury Theatre and was impressed. The recommended car park on the ring road is only a few minutes away. The restaurant is busy and lots of seating. Meals are good and reasonably priced. Seats are comfortable and all appear to have a good view of the stage. The stage foods are around the back but have 2 doors, if you are keen to meat the cast and stars of shows.

The theatre is lovely, really friendly reception a lovely bar, free water jug, you can eat there. You do have to go upstairs to the seats. There are disability parking spaces outside the theatre but you do have to book a space when you book your tickets, which ensures you a space. There us a small shop also. The theatre is very nice and you get a good view wherever you are seated. Very enjoyable night.

Exceptional Experience: Comfortable, Efficient, and Intimate This is easily the best theatre I have visited. The seating is incredibly comfortable, and the staff are helpful and welcoming, making the entire visit seamless. One of the standout features is the practical layout—there were plenty of toilet cubicles, meaning no long queues during intermission, which is a rare and appreciated find in a theatre. The stage itself is small and cosy, creating an intimate atmosphere that brings you closer to the performance. I would happily return to watch another show here. Highly recommended.

I love this theatre, local to where I live with friendly staff with reasonable prices. A great variety of shows to watch and a great sized theatre and layout. Lastly, they are home to the best panto dame in the UK !!
