Staying Inn

West Mersea is a working coastal town with its own character, and the holiday park sits within walking distance of the seafront and local shops. Staying Inn is a ground-floor lodge designed for guests who want sea air without the climb – all the living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms are on one level. Two cars can park on the property, and there's a sitting-out terrace for morning coffee or evening drinks.

The main living area is open plan, with a smart TV, French doors opening to the garden, and enough space for four people to spread out. The kitchen handles proper cooking: gas oven, induction hob, dishwasher, and a wine cooler alongside the usual fridge and microwave. Bedroom one has a double bed and its own ensuite shower; bedroom two contains a single bed plus a pull-out single. A separate family bathroom has a bath and walk-in shower. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. One dog stays free, and smoking is not permitted inside.

This suits couples, friends sharing, or small families wanting a low-key break by the sea. The lodge works well for those who prefer not to manage stairs, and the park's gated setting keeps things quiet.
