About Templehall Holidays and Caravan Site
Tucked away near Coldingham in the Scottish Borders, Templehall Holidays and Caravan Site is a no-frills adults-only retreat that's open all year. You'll find electric hook-ups, WiFi, drinking water and WC disposal points, plus dogs are welcome and campfires are allowed – ideal for cosy evenings under the stars. The catch? There are no showers or toilets on site, so you'll need to be fully self-contained in a motorhome or caravan.
Despite that limitation, guests consistently praise the peaceful setting and the warm welcome from hosts who clearly care about their pitch. It's a solid, straightforward base for exploring the dramatic Borders coastline and countryside beyond.

What visitors say
We booked the Ashmere Tiny House. The accommodation was modern, clean and contained all good quality utensils needed to cater indoors or outside for BBQs! It had beautiful views overlooking fields and the village of Coldingham. Sadly we were very disappointed with the toilet which was a "cassette" toilet, basically it had no flush! If you're used to this then you'll be fine but we've stayed in many similar hut/lodge properties before where a normal flushing toilet is standard. This wasn't mentioned on the website, and if it had, we would have chosen against visiting. From our point of view, you should make guests aware of this prior to booking. This is something we have never experienced before therefore wouldn't have even thought to ask about, especially when it's classified on the website as "luxury", this isn't something we'd classify as luxury.

Me and my mate had an amazing weekend incredible location the owners gave great recommendations and where very accommodating couldn't rate the place highly enough and only a stone throw away from this weekends rally championship couldn't ask for more 😁

We have just spent 9 nights at this gem of a site. We had a very warm welcome from Andrew and his wife. Although we didn't need any help we got the impression that nothing would have been too much trouble for them. Spacious pitches and easy access to the village on foot. Plenty of walking for the dog. An ideal base for touring this part of the country. We will definitely be back. Thanks Again, Robert, Lee and Kirk (bubble dog)

Fantastic site! Extremely generous spacing between pitches - the best we’ve been on. Very quiet. Beautifully maintained and really friendly owners. No facilities - as per website - but this is a premium site at a very reasonable price. Great little honesty hut selling jams, chutneys and ice creams. Just perfect! We will be back!
