About The Hayloft
The Hayloft sits on Pentre Du Farm in peaceful North Wales countryside, where thick traditional stone walls keep this converted barn cool in summer and snug in winter. Set over a single spacious floor (up six steps), the accommodation sleeps two adults in a self-contained setup with exposed stonework, a bright living room, fully fitted kitchen, and ensuite bedroom. Views sweep over the surrounding farmland where a troop of curious cows graze.
The location delivers easy access to Snowdonia National Park, Colwyn Bay, and Conwy, while the village of Llysfaen—just a couple of minutes' drive—has a local shop and takeaway. Mynydd Marian Local Nature Reserve is about 20 minutes away on foot, and the coast is ten minutes by car. It's a splendid spot for couples seeking a secluded farm setting with walking, climbing, mountain biking, and watersports all nearby.

What visitors say
Went here on our way to a local lake with our dog (German shepherd) and we were willing to sit outside at the tables as we had the dog but staff were lovely and said they were dog friendly and we could sit inside. It was a roasting hot day so it was ideal. The staff opened the doors near us so the dog could go out of he wanted and they got him water and refilled it throughout. It was a beautiful place to eat and the food was delicious and really good value. Some people eating clearly were not fans of them being dog friendly but that's their issue. Would highly recommend.

We have recently moved to Llandudno from the midlands and a friend recommended coming here for dinner. I am pleased to say it did not disappoint! The waiting staff were happy, smiling and a pleasure to talk to. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and the presentation was beautiful. We will not hesitate to be back for steak night. Thank you.

Having attended weddings here I had high hopes for a decent meal. Unfortunately not. The whipped goats cheese starter was most definitely not whipped and was just lumps of goats cheese with salad stuck on top. The pork belly was essentially a lump of fat. I appreciate pork belly is generally fatty but a bit of meat would have been nice. As for the dessert… my partner and I both ordered the lemon and raspberry posset. It wasn’t a posset, it was nowhere near thick or sharp enough. But the icing on the cake, so to speak, was that one pot had absolutely no raspberries in it at all and the other was mostly raspberries. Very disappointing and won’t be returning.

Called in for Sunday lunch without having made a reservation. No problem - table found. Ordered sharing platter of three different meats. Very large portions. Meat (beef in particular) was excellent. I do wish that the knives had been sharper - or steak knives - cutting though the thick slices of meat was difficult. That aside great food, lovely staff and great venue.
