Rolling farmland and wooded valleys surround this detached house in rural North Wales, a few miles from the village of Llansannan. Hendre Aled Farmhouse sits in genuinely quiet countryside, the kind of setting where a large group can spread out without feeling hemmed in.
The place has five bedrooms across two floors, sleeping up to 12 people. Downstairs there are two living spaces—both with woodburners and Freeview—plus a dining room, kitchen and conservatory. Bedrooms include three doubles, a room with three single beds (3ft each), and one with a bunk arrangement: double bed below, single above. Two bathrooms serve the house, one with a bath and shower, one with a shower cubicle. Essentials like electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included, along with logs for the fires. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and American fridge freezer, so cooking for a crowd is manageable.
Outside, there's parking for three cars on site and a garden with furniture and a barbecue. One pet can stay free. The house is yours alone for the duration, and smoking is not permitted.

We stayed as a group of 11. The kids loved the house, and were running around playing tag and hide and seek. Grounds ouside were huge, and the added outdoor playground for the kids is a nice touch. Full kitchen with everything needed to cook, large fridge freezer, big porch, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, and log burner. Only issue was storage in a couple of bedrooms, but we coped.

Stayed in cottage 3. Everything you could want in this old cottage. Remote and peaceful. Great for walking from the cottage and trips out in the car. Recommend the 7 mile walk around llyn Alwen Reservoir and also the pub,The white lion in Cerrigydrudion. Very welcoming and good food.

Great stay at this property in Llansannan, have booked numerous times. Love the peace and quiet. Remote, lovely views, off track as it is a non working farm property. Saw lots of sheep and lambs when I went last. A very chilled place no busy roads. Would definitely recommend. Nice garden and small walk 10 seconds away. Will be back.
