Rhiw Farmhouse is a fully equipped four-bedroom property in Eryri National Park near Conwy, sleeping up to 16 guests across single beds and bunks. Three bathrooms serve the house, and the kitchen is fitted for feeding large groups—it has three gas cookers, a dishwasher, and a separate fridge and freezer. Both the living room and dining room have open fires. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; oil central heating keeps things warm. The whole place is yours alone, with parking for eight cars on site.

Ground-floor living spaces centre on a dining room and sitting room, each with a working fireplace. Upstairs, the four bedrooms contain 19 single beds and bunks in total, arranged across rooms with one to five beds each. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available for families with young children. Outside, a games room holds a pool table, football table and darts board. The front garden has seating and a firepit; walking straight from the property takes you onto the Carneddau Mountains and surrounding tracks. The village pub is within walking distance. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Fantastic few nights spent there this weekend. Steep hill to get there so be prepared to park outside the farm and walk up. But absolutely beautiful views and the stars on a clear night are a marvel to see, highly recommended

Had an amazing few nights stay there recently with a group of friends. The hill up there is a killer but otherwise it's a great spec with amazing views of the valley. Great walks in the surrounding area and plenty to do depending on what you fancy. We headed to Lanberis for a day on the lakes. one of the best things were the stars at night we were Lucy with the weather and the sky was so clear it was incredible. Highly recommended

Well maintained and equipped. Good drying room. Spectacular views from the front garden over the Conwy estuary. Ancient stone circle and burial chamber within an hour's walk. Note access road is extremely steep. 1 in 3 in places. Grass parking for perhaps 4 cars next to hostel.

Stayed here over the summer of 2017 - just for a night. It was a wonderful place, off the beaten track and a decent walk to the village but the views are amazing and this is the sort of place I think of when I think of youth hostels: clean, tidy, friendly staff, amazing views and really in the heart of the countryside. A magical place and a credit to the YHA.
