Yew Cottage

You arrive at Yew Cottage to find everything on one floor. The living and dining area greets you first, with a kitchen beyond equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge. One bedroom holds a double bed, the other has bunks. The shower room includes a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included; the heating runs on oil. There are three steps up to the entrance, and a lake sits 110 yards from the cottage grounds.

The property sleeps four and allows one pet at no extra cost. A small garden with seating overlooks the grounds, and you have private parking for one car. The setting is between mountains and sea in Conwy, within easy reach of Penmaenmawr beach, Llandudno and the walled town of Conwy with its castle. Snowdonia National Park lies roughly half an hour away. The cottage sits on a trout fishing lake stocked with fish up to and beyond two pounds, and the surrounding area has restaurants, bars and cafés serving local food.
