About Anchor Barrow Campsite
Anchor Barrow Campsite sits just outside Perranporth, and it's clearly won over its guests—that 4.9 rating comes from consistently excellent facilities, including spotlessly clean hot showers, communal fridges and freezers, and a large indoor barn kitted out with games and a TV for rainy days. The site goes beyond the basics with proper food on offer (gyros and breakfast get special mention), plus lively evening entertainment ranging from live music to silent discos.
Staff earn praise for being genuinely helpful, and prices remain reasonable despite all the extras. You'll find 65 non-electric and 35 electric grass pitches, campfires are allowed, and dogs are welcome. It's family-friendly without feeling overly polished—a properly sociable base for exploring Cornwall's north coast, with Perranporth's surf and sand just a short trip away.

What visitors say
Lovely campsite. The showers and facilities are amazing, plenty of space and there's breakfast and dinner options if you'd prefer not to camp cook. Love the attention to detail - the local butcher will deliver orders to site once a day and there's a 24hr assistance phone number in case you get stuck and a little site shop for all the basics some local items & sweet treats. It's a new set up, but the owners seem to have thought of everything.

Wow, wow, wow. This site is a must. Great pitches with fantastic facilities. A small shop, that sells everything you could need, a great bar/food area with live entertainment, and 1st class wc/shower blocks. Unfortunately we only stayed for the 2x nights as touring Cornwall and running out of time. We will definitely be back again soon. The hosts...and staff were always really friendly and helpful. I promise that you will not be disappointed staying here. Lee and Wendy, Lympstone

Anchor barrow is my favourite campsite, the location is perfect and the site has everything you could possibly need. One staff member named “James” was extremely notable, he was super attentive and gave me some great tips on where to go in the local area. He even turned on the lights in the barn so we could play cards. Would definitely come back!

We went here for our annual camping trip with my uni team and it was lovely. We struggled to find somewhere that allowed a group booking of nearly 20 but they did and let us all pitch up in a circle. It had lots of amenities for a campsite, including fridges, a TV in the "barn", a bar and lovely showers. Very close to Perranporth which has plenty to do and large beach. Would recommend.
