About Lambriggan Camping
Tucked into a working deer farm just inland from Perranporth, Lambriggan Camping offers something genuinely different – a small, family-friendly site where the kids can watch the deer and parents can enjoy proper campfires under dark Cornish skies. Electric hook-ups are available, and the facilities cover the basics well, though there's no WiFi if you're hoping to switch off completely.
The real draw is the location: Perranporth's three miles of sand are less than ten minutes by car, while the site itself feels peacefully rural. It's a straightforward, welcoming spot that works well for families wanting a taste of farm life alongside their beach days, though note that pets aren't permitted.

What visitors say
Absolutely loved staying in the Shepherd’s hut at Lambriggan. Stunning location, so peaceful and lovely to see the deer. The Shepherd’s hut itself is spotless, stylish, comfortable and we would love to come back! Many thanks.

We’ve Just had a wonderful stay at the beautiful shepherd’s hut at Lambriggan Campsite, and we’ve completely fallen in love with this peaceful little haven. Nestled on a working deer farm, we were greeted daily by the sweet faces of the deer peering through the fence, an unexpected and heartwarming highlight of our trip. The hut is incredibly private and perfectly placed, offering stunning views over rolling Cornish hills. It’s an ideal base for exploring the area, just 10 minutes from Newquay, and around 40 minutes to Penzance and St Ives. You’ll definitely need a car for getting around, but the quiet, back-road location is a big part of what makes this place so special. After a 6-hour drive, we were so touched to find a welcome package in the fridge with everything we needed for a cream tea lunch, plus fresh eggs and milk for breakfast, such a thoughtful touch that instantly made us feel at home. The shepherds hut has everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the king-size bed was unbelievably comfy, just what we needed after days spent exploring Cornwall’s coast and countryside. I’m writing this now while soaking up the last of the evening sun on our final night, from the chairs outside the hut, surrounded by peaceful views and birdsong. Thank you to the hosts for creating such a magical retreat, we’re already dreaming of coming back. Jason and Carrie

Lambriggan camping is a hidden Gem. Arrived to a warm welcome, logs waiting in the fire bowl and enough space on our pitch to fit 3 large tents. The private bathroom for the pitch is clean, modern, and even has a towel rail which is a wonderful bonus. We are definitely coming next year!!

Well what can we say? Our first stay in Cornwall and what a WONDERFUL time we had! The loveliest site, absolutely perfect and so serene! The pitches are VERY generous, and with EHU too! Each of the 2 pitches have their own private shower/toilet …………… with a radiator to boot! The shower was perfect, cosy and lovely and warm, as was our welcome ❤️ and our whole stay. Wildlife surrounds you and the deer are just fascinating to watch. We will MOST DEFINITELY return and we would highly recommend staying. Thank you so much Lambriggan. Certainly a week to remember xx
