About East Crinnis Camping and Caravan Park

East Crinnis Holiday Park is a family-run site near Par, on the western edge of St Austell Bay, around four miles from Fowey. It's earned a strong reputation for mixing proper campsite essentials – clean facilities, a well-kept touring field, grass and hardstanding pitches with hookups – with extras that keep families entertained: a stone-baked pizza venue called The Shack, an outdoor Avalanche Slip and Slide, and a wildlife pond that draws in dragonflies and frogs. Dogs are welcome year-round, and the site's four-star VisitEngland rating reflects standards that campers consistently praise.

Crinnis Beach sits just 400 metres away, while the location between Par and St Austell makes this a sensible base for exploring Fowey's harbour or heading inland to the Eden Project. Accommodation runs from tent and touring pitches through to yurts, a geodome, log cabins and self-catering homes, though a few reviews note the site can feel a little tired in places – understandable for a working park that packs in plenty of activity.

Five stars doesn't seem nearly enough! The campsite was excellent - really clean with great facilities. Quiet and family friendly with great food from "The Shack". But what makes this campsite truly outstanding is the wonderful service given by our hosts. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. We were welcomed with gifts including local cider. Anything we needed was responded to very quickly. We'd had a rough few nights camping because of the weather, so Paul offered us the Geodome. What an experience! It was beautiful and really well equipped with all the essentials for cooking (as well as a woodburner, which was just what we needed)! All camping pitches and facilities were well cared for and many pitches were private with hedges around. We were really near to the Eden Project, beach and Charlestown. We had a wonderful experience at East Crinnis and would definitely stay here again. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

What a fabulous site, lovely pitches, super clean showers (although what’s with the constant button pressing at sites, drives me up the wall). Staff/owners are the best I’ve come across, cannot do enough to help you, and are genuinely lovely people. Breakfast at the shack was good value, and freshly made to order, with proper coffee. I think this is the nicest site I’ve been to, I just love the layout, and so quiet, and laid back. Our group of ladies will be back, thanks guys x

Loved this campsite. Stayed in the dome. It was amazing. Cannot reccomend enough. Had everything you need and more and the bed was v comfy. A quiet, thoughtful site. Pitches are all very private and spacious. Facilities excellent. They pit on storytelling round a fire with professionals one evening. What a treat. The slip and slide is fun. We will return.

We stayed in our van at east Crinnis and loved our stay. The park is a quiet, great location, friendly staff, clean toilets and facilities. All pitches are spacious and private we stayed on 12 which was seconds from the toliet block, which had toliet a showers, sinks for washing up, laundry & even had a microwave and and fridge in a little room. Water was always hot and showers are clean. They have food in the shack morning and in the evenings in the summer. Site is within walking distance of par market and a big range( with small Iceland inside) , lovely pub 10 minutes walk away and lovely paths to the beach. Would definitely recommend this site and would visit again!!
