About Ewe With A View Campsite

Set on a working sheep farm four miles from Helston, Ewe With A View lives up to its name with spectacular vistas over Porthleven's harbour and out towards the Lizard. This tiny, peaceful site in proper Poldark country offers non-electric grass pitches where you can fire up the barbecue or gather round a campfire while soaking up those sea views. The location is a walker's dream – Rinsey's dramatic coastline with its old mining engine houses and wild horses is half an hour on foot, while the fishing village of Porthleven, 45 minutes away, tempts with excellent fish and chips, gourmet cafés and traditional harbour pubs.

With everything from cycling and mountain biking to sailing and surf schools nearby, there's no shortage of activity, though the remote setting and spectacular scenery might just persuade you to linger on site. Note that dogs aren't allowed, keeping things especially tranquil for those seeking a proper escape into Cornwall's coastal countryside.

If peace and quiet in Cornwall is your thing then this is the site for you; absolutely perfectly located on the farm the campervan pitches are well spaced out and offers you the ultimate location to rest and unwind. Spotlessly clean facilities; more toilet roll than this coeliac with a bowel condition could want and need. Warm showers too!! The lifeguard hut is perfect for all your electrical charging needs and access to a fridge and freezer make the trip a little easier. We are not ones for big busy sites; but peace and quiet, time to unwind, read a book and enjoy nature. If you like much of the same then this is the place for you!!!

We have camped here many times and we will return again and again. Its a very simple set up with an ingenious shower and toilet-in a horse box arrangement. Always very clean. The joy is in the peace. The sound of skylarks fills the air. And if you are lucky choughs. It is a working farm so no dogs are allowed but you will get to know the resident pair. Thank you.

The most peaceful and serene location and fantastic accommodation. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back. The views are amazing and the sense of open space is just so fabulous. Although hidden away we were still close to everything we wanted to do whilst on holiday so had the best of both worlds

Loveliest stay at the shepards hut, with a beautiful view of the sea and the little lambs and sheep as our neighbours! And Steve the Shepard even let us help feed the lambs🤍 The amenities were great and Duncan was easy and quick to get hold of. Highly Recommend
