About Far View
Tucked into five acres of meadow on the outskirts of Mullion, Far View lives up to its name with sweeping green vistas that stretch toward the Lizard Peninsula's rugged coastline. Mullion Cove lies under a mile away, making this an ideal base for mixing coastal scrambles with countryside calm. The site itself has a charmingly unconventional edge: permanent residents include wallabies you can visit up close, plus goats, horses, donkeys and guanaco roaming the grounds. Dogs are welcome, though owners should keep the resident menagerie in mind.
Facilities cover the essentials—showers, toilets, washing-up areas—while campfires and barbecues keep evenings atmospheric. A 15-minute stroll brings you to Mullion village for pubs, provisions and a pasty shop, while a chocolate factory with its own team of llamas sits within 10 minutes on foot. The site can feel a touch rustic in places, but that's part of the appeal for anyone seeking a genuinely off-grid Cornish escape with a quirky twist.

What visitors say
A lovely quiet, little spot with basic amenities & lovely friendly people running it. It has lots of animals. The wallabies & llamas were a really lovely surprise. Grounds are well kept on campsite & rewilded around animal enclosures. Didn't use the showers but the toilets were very clean & well stocked. There was a little shared space with a kettle & toaster in for use along with pamphlets of things to do & a few books & games to borrow whilst staying, nice touch. We were lucky to get clear beautiful skies for a gorgeous sunset & sensational starry night sky. We stayed one night but wished we'd stayed longer. Thanks for having us at such short notice. We called on the day & were plotted up in time for sunset. It's definitely worth another visit.

We stayed for 2 nights this summer. The owner went out of her way to help us, including supplying extra tent pegs when needed. The toilets/showers were surprisingly clean and always a pleasure to use. We didn’t use them but there were loads of fridges you can store food in, and places to charge your phones etc. The kids went on the animal feeding experience and absolutely loved it. They milked the goats and fed a variety of animals. You can also feed the horses with supplied apples if you like. The whole site felt friendly and safe, and we were lucky that all the campers around us were considerate. We would certainly stay again if heading to that area.

The most wonderful space to play, a safe space. Jane is so welcoming, she cannot do enough for her guests, even their washing! The children loved the animals. Woyld highly recommend and hope to revisit.
