About Lizard Point Holiday Park
Lizard Point Holiday Park sits near the southernmost tip of mainland Britain, where smugglers' coves, golden beaches and colourful fishing villages dot the dramatic coastline. The park pulls out all the stops for families: heated outdoor and indoor pools (including PADI diving lessons), a Crazy Caves soft play with slides and tunnels, pirate-themed crazy golf, and an adventure playground that keeps children entertained for hours. Evening entertainment, kids' clubs, and a choice of bars and restaurants mean there's plenty going on whatever the weather.
Pitches range from non-electric grass plots to fully-serviced hardstanding, and dog owners are welcome year-round. Some visitors note the facilities can feel a little tired in places, and it's a larger park so don't expect intimate tranquillity—but the sheer range of activities and that Lizard Peninsula scenery more than compensate.

The reception staff and outdoor lifeguards were so friendly and also contributed to our fantastic stay!! Thankyou to all the team but especially all the entertainment staff!!

We booked a Gold Standard caravan at Parkdean Lizard Point for a two-week holiday, but we ended up leaving after just three days because the experience was so disappointing. The caravan was poorly maintained and nowhere near the standard we expected. As we were travelling with a baby, some of the issues were genuinely concerning. There were loose screws sticking out from the worktops, the back cover of the TV was missing, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. When we moved the beds to make space for our baby’s travel cot, we found sweets, hair and even nail clippings left behind from previous guests. It was obvious the caravan had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. We also experienced problems with both the fridge and the oven. Although a maintenance engineer eventually came out around four hours later, they barely investigated the issues and simply said everything looked fine, despite the appliances clearly not working as they should. What disappointed us most was the customer service. Once Parkdean had received our money, it felt like they had no interest in resolving our concerns or looking after their guests. We emailed customer services on 12th June to raise these issues and, at the time of writing this review, we have still received no response. This holiday was meant to be a relaxing family break, but instead it was stressful and cut short. We would not recommend paying for a Gold Standard caravan based on our experience, and we hope this review encourages Parkdean to improve both the condition of their accommodation and the way they treat their customers.

The caravan we stayed in has been recently renovated. It was clean. Beds were comfy, shower stream strong. Pleasant staff. Free WiFi wasn't working well so we paid for the upgrade 5£/day - well worth it. We did a hike in the Lizard point as well. It's a nice place to stay for a few days. They can't charge too much though as the furniture has been refurbished by someone with two left hands, hence some people picked up on it in the reviews. We normally don't come back to the places we've been before but I think we'll make an exception for this one.

Definitely the worst parkdean we have ever been too. Baby wipes outside the caravan with poo on. Absolutely appalling. Caravan hadn’t been cleaned well at all hairs all over the bed ,pen , Fluff and blood on pillows. 2 pillows without cases on. Floor also hadn’t been hoovered or mopped. Went to reception and told the lady, who was lovely. she then passed it over to the Cleaning team who took over an hour to arrive, even though I explained I had a baby and two children that needed dinner because it was 5 pm. On the cleaners arrival they took one look in the caravan and asked what the problem was, they were very rude to me also, I expressed my concerns to the cleanliness of the caravan. They said they would clean it all they did was hoover. I asked for the bed covers to be changed, all they had done was hoover over the hairs bearing in mind this was also on the sheet so knew they hadn’t been changed. So I had to go out and buy new bedding for all the beds. Went to the soft play for 3 days with no issues from staff then was told we couldn’t enter because you had to pay which isn’t stated anywhere outside the soft play or inside. Again rude staff. None of the food or ice cream outlets were open either. Outdoor swimming only open in the morning also. Changing rooms for indoor swimming were vile told staff about a Sanitary towel between the bench on Tuesday and it was still there on Thursday, very disappointed with the stay and will not be returning.
