About Farmer Phil's Campsite
Farmer Phil's 75-acre working farm sits in peaceful Cornish countryside about ten minutes from Bude's beaches and breaks. This is proper rural camping – cows and sheep for company, wide open farmland views, and just the essentials by way of facilities: clean loos, showers, washing-up sinks. Phil clearly knows what campers want, though: there's free wifi, communal fridges and freezers for ice packs, plus a launderette. Campfires and barbecues are both allowed, dogs are welcome year-round, and the site happily takes single-sex groups, motorcyclists and commercial vehicles.
With only 11-25 pitches, it never feels crowded. Bude's surfing, golf and watersports are all close at hand, while farm shops and supermarkets lie within a short drive. Some might find the facilities a touch basic compared to posher sites, but if you're after genuine farm camping within easy reach of North Cornwall's coast, Phil's got it sorted.

I spent 3 nights at Farmer Phil’s over August bank holiday weekend with my toddler, it was brilliant! What a beautiful location! The farm/camping field itself is very spacious and peaceful. Phil provides fantastic and more than basic camping facilities - showers, toilets, washing machine, tumble drier, multiple sinks for washing up, toaster, kettle and microwave. He is such a kind, hardworking and friendly man with a beautiful spot to enjoy some lovely countryside views.

We decided to have a nite out in yhe camper we tried a little camp site 15 miles local to us we were meet by phil the Onwer who showed us to our pitch grass only pitches £10 pppn £14 pppn with electric hookup lovely big field lovely views dog friendly (no charge) lovely hot showers washing drying machines at extra cost see web site toaster microwave campsite fridge kettle all you would need spacious pitches would highly recommend would stay again 5 miles to the coast town of stratton / bude
