Thurlibeer House

Bude's beaches, golf course and leisure facilities sit within easy reach of Thurlibeer House, a substantial colonial-style property set back from the Holsworthy to Bude road. The North Cornwall Coastal Footpath runs nearby, and the Planekeepers Path—a quiet, level 3-mile walk along Bude's canal—starts half a mile away, leading down to Summerleaze Beach. The canal itself offers coarse fishing, and the town has three large sandy beaches, a sea-water swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, plus a Historical and Folk Museum among its shops and restaurants.

The whole house is yours for 15 guests across seven bedrooms: four on the ground floor (two doubles, one twin, one set of bunks) and three upstairs (another double with ensuite shower and toilet, a triple room with ensuite, and a twin). Ground floor also has a second living room, a utility room, and a games room with pool table and table football. The main kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Three bathrooms serve the property. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. You have a terrace with outdoor furniture, large gardens and private parking for six cars. The house does not allow smoking.

Horse riding is available locally, and the setting puts you within driving distance of further attractions along the North Cornwall coast.
