Ballantine’s No 29
Cornwall
Ballantine's No 29 sits on the Lizard peninsula within reach of some of Cornwall's most dramatic coastline. Poldhu Cove, with its soft sand and rock pools, lies a short drive away and draws swimmers, surfers and families in equal measure. The South West Coast Path runs nearby, offering walks that thread above the coves; Kynance, described as one of the region's most beautiful stretches, is further along but worth the journey. Mullion Cove's small harbour and lifeboat station are also close by, and on poor-weather days, Mullion Meadows—a chocolate factory and craft centre—sits just before the property entrance.
The bungalow is single-storey throughout, with two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), a shower room, and a combined living and dining space. The kitchen has a two-ring hob and microwave, suited to simple cooking rather than elaborate meals. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. Private parking for two cars is on site; the grounds are shared with other residential and holiday properties, so it's a considerate community. No smoking inside.
This is an affordable base for families, walkers and anyone drawn to water sports. The location puts you on the edge of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with footpaths that run toward bird-watching spots and occasional seal sightings.
