What visitors say
Fabulous place to stay, beautiful facilities, had everything we needed, lovely and quiet location with easy access to safe family friendly local beaches. Warm welcome from the host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Just a short drive or half hour walk to the popular harbour village of Porthleven which was just idyllic!

Very friendly hosts, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We didn’t realise that the Bessie tent had a private field, fire pit and toilet which was a bonus. The facilities are great and well maintained. However you couldn’t control the temperature on the shower, which was mostly fine. Extremely good value, wonderful location and a very well equipped tent. Would absolutely recommend and we would love to return next year. Bessie was the perfect mix of being outdoors while still feeling clean and comfortable, and the tent was very hardy against rain. One night it rained heavily and not a drop got in the tent. The campsite also has a children’s play area, complete with a playhouse, play kitchen and ball/racket games which is such a lovely little detail! Fab location, quiet but very close to local amenities (lovely beaches, walks, coffee shops, nice restaurants, multiple small towns and large supermarkets all within a 10 minute drive). Very family friendly. Would highly recommend staying here!!

A last minute holiday had us discover this hideaway campsite. Both sister's Anna and Caroline who manage the site were of great assistance to us. We found this place good value for money and a perfect spot for visiting the neighbouring tourist locations.

We booked a very last minute trip to Trevena Cross and booked in the ‘basic’ Annie teepee. It was exactly as described, beds provided and a little seating area outside. There was also a mat outside and inside, along with a broom and dustpan which came in handy. The toilet and shower were great, we wasn’t sure what to expect from a camp/glamping site but were very pleasantly surprised. The shower especially was wonderful, made me want one like it in my garden lol!!! For just £5 we could buy wood and use a fire pit to keep us warm in the evening. We took our own bedding and little gas stove - which is obviously a must if you book the basic Annie as it’s just the beds. We had a great stay, took our dog too which was just £5 per night. It was so peaceful and in a great location for easy access to multiple beaches. They also have a basket for ‘essentials’ you may have forgotten, filled with items that you do usually forget and you pop the cash into the honesty pig ☺️
