I’ve been visiting Trewince for YEARS with family & now I’m back with my own children! The pitches are large, reasonably priced and the site is looked after beautifully. The park & pool are great for children & the views from all around are beautiful. It’s 10 minutes to Padstow and accessible to lots of Cornwall. However, there is only one toilet block open, which meant we had to put the children in car seats and drive up each time any of them needed the loo, otherwise we’d have had multiple accidents. I don’t understand why they don’t open both blocks. We were also told by one of the ‘locals’ that there is no recycling on site and that all bins merge into general waste, which is really disappointing.

This was our second time visiting this site. We arrived at 3pm (1 hour after the recommended time) but Reception was closed so no one greeted us. I accept that we had pre reserved our pitch but as high winds were predicted I would have thought someone from the site would at least have come to see us to make sure all was ok. The showers were hot and clean so no complaints there.

I’ll start with the only two let downs. 1-Pool was dirty. I understand an outdoor pool having bits in it etc but for the floor to be slimy was too much for me. 2- the showers in the men’s were dirty. I got out feeling worse than when I got in. However my fiancée and daughter said the ladies was fine. Lovely campsite that is so peaceful and really relaxing place to stay. Nice little shop that carries all the essentials including daily pastry deliveries from Malcolm barnecutts. We will definitely be returning.

We've been coming here for over 10 years as it's just perfect. Great views, friendly staff and clean and tidy facilities. My only complaint is that the hand dryers in all the men's and ladies toilets/showers are terrible and you can actually dry your hands faster by waving them in the wind. They have been the same ever since we've been going so would be nice if they can install hand dryers that actually dry your hands. Also the reception never seems to be open and has a 'we open when we can be bothered' schedule
