Bolivar Barn

Bolivar Barn is a converted pig barn on an elevated site near Lanner, retaining original character while offering proper comfort. Everything you need comes as standard: electricity, bed linen, towels, heating and a welcome pack. The single bedroom has a super king bed, and the ensuite has a cubicle shower. An open-plan living space combines the kitchen, dining and sitting areas all on the ground floor, with a woodburner for cooler evenings and a TV for downtime. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric cooker, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

A terrace with garden furniture overlooks the countryside, and you have private parking for two cars. The location suits walkers and anyone wanting to explore the mining heritage and rugged coastline of southwest Cornwall. Carn Brea with its granite obelisk and coastal views is about 20 minutes away, and Tehidy Woods Country Park offers nine miles of pathways through 250 acres of woodland and lake. A path behind the barn leads to an old quarry converted into an open theatre. The property sleeps two and accepts one well-behaved dog. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
