About Penndra Campsite

Tucked away near the hamlet of Comford, this peaceful four-acre site occupies a sweet spot for exploring Cornwall – you can reach either the north or south coast in around 15-20 minutes, making beach-hopping and day trips to the Eden Project, Minack Theatre or Land's End all brilliantly doable. Back at camp, the riverside setting brings a lovely backdrop of flowing water, while spacious pitches give everyone room to spread out. Facilities are kept spotlessly clean and include helpful touches like communal fridges, freezers and charging points.

The welcoming family who run Penndra keep things relaxed – dogs are welcome year-round, campfires crackle in designated areas, and there's a dedicated dog-walking zone. For provisions, Lanner and Ponsanooth are five minutes away, or pop into Comford's local pub for Cornish ales and Roskilly's ice cream. A thoroughly handy base that ticks all the boxes without any fuss.

Has to be the best campsite we've been to, Location is great, plenty of space and shadey spots for the summer months. Very clean and well maintained site/toilets etc. Communal fridge and freezer aswell as handy little bits in the little shop! Very peaceful place to stay, highly recommended!

Absolute GEM of a campsite. You know how good it is when campsite rule 11 says 'as from 10pm only the owls should be heard on campsite'. Perfect! Great location! Great surroundings! Great facilities. I am so glad I found it. Ideal for the stock car and banger track which is within walking distance. Will definitely visit again next time I am in Cornwall.

This campsite is excellent and very well run. The pitch sizes are XXXL mainly flat and well drained. The toilets & showers are very clean, plenty of hot water and good water pressure, no having to press a button every 20 seconds. Richard is very kind and helpful and visible on site attending to the facilities. We found it a good base to explore the surrounding Beaches and attractions whilst being immersed in the peace of the countryside. We had a lovely seven day stay. Thank you Richard.

Quiet little campsite. Very basic, but has everything you need. Toilet, showers, and honesty box shop. If you are someone that takes a telly camping, this isn't for you. If you want to sit outside, reading a book, this place is perfect. Dog friendly. Dogs should be on lead, but while we were there all dogs were friendly and no one had dogs on leads. We are already planning our next trip there.
