Couples will find Bosun's a straightforward base in Port Isaac, a working fishing village on Cornwall's north coast. The single-storey property sits on a quiet lane behind the owner's home, giving you your own entrance and private parking for one small car. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a sofa bed, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a bedroom with a kingsize bed, and a shower room. Wifi, heating and towels are included.
Port Isaac itself draws visitors for Doc Martin filming locations and Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant, a short walk away. The harbour and beach sit at the bottom of steep narrow lanes lined with cafés, galleries and pubs. From here, the South West Coastal Path offers cliff-top walks with views along the dramatic coastline; Polzeath's sand and surf breaks lie west, while Tintagel and Boscastle are within easy reach to the east. Wadebridge, a few miles inland, has bike hire for exploring the Camel Estuary trail. The property has three steps to its entrance and is not accessible by wheelchair. No smoking indoors.
