About Little Meadow Camping

Tucked between Bodmin Moor and the north Cornwall coast, Little Meadow Camping earns its five-star Google rating with a peaceful, well-kept atmosphere and genuinely warm hospitality. Reviewers highlight the spotless facilities – a compact shower block with two showers, two toilets and washing-up station – and the thoughtful touches that make even first-time campers feel at ease. Dog owners particularly appreciate the welcome their four-legged friends receive, and the site's jumbo pitches on level grass give everyone plenty of breathing room.

From here, you're ideally placed for exploring both coast and moor. Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay and Tintagel Castle all lie within twenty minutes' drive, while trails up Brown Willy and Rough Tor await on Bodmin Moor itself. The cute coffee shop in Altarnun makes a fine pit stop, and Jamaica Inn – the famous smugglers' haunt – is just twenty minutes away for a historic meal out. Stock up on local produce at nearby farm shops, or head to Bude for larger supermarkets. Barbecues are welcome, so fire up the grill and settle in for a proper Cornish escape.

Stayed two nights here in campervan. So peaceful and close to spots we wanted to explore. Very reasonable tariff and clean facilities. Recommend to other free spirits.

The very best CL we have stayed on. Was an unexpected highlight of our trip to Cornwall. We coincidentally met John who mentioned his campsite. We went and stayed and were so very glad we did. Great welcome, great sense of humour and great clean facilities. Will certainly stay again if in the area and we highly recommend.

We stayed across the road from the Campsite. Totally private 1950s Air Stream looking over four lake's on the door side and open fields for the rest. The dogs could roam free not that they did much. We also had a hot tub which was fantastic. We had peace and quiet with some fantastic walk with views to die for. Just sat on the decking was amazing wildlife just in front of you. Much more to this holiday than I can expect with more to discover everyday
