Cheesewring Farm - Mum’s Cottage

Photo: peter manning

Mum's Cottage sits on Cheesewring Farm, a working farm with immediate access to open moorland. The single-storey layout keeps everything on one level: a combined living and dining space with a wood-burner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with bath and shower. The bedrooms offer flexibility—one has a zip-and-link king that splits into twins, the other two single beds. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all provided.

The garden is small but usable, with furniture for sitting out. One car can park on site, and dogs stay free. Walking straight from the garden gate puts you on the open moor; The Cheesewring, Golitha Falls and the Hurlers Stones are all reachable on foot or a short drive. Looe's beaches, restaurants and harbourside shops lie fifteen minutes away by car, and further afield are the Eden Project, Bodmin Jail and Lanhydrock House. The cottage doesn't allow smoking.
