On a beautiful plot of land just outside the town, peaceful and lovely, rooms are clean and comfy also very spacious fit our sons bed and dog with both of us too. Food for breakfast was delicious. Staff are lovely and friendly. Only part id change is the back door in rooms opening so dogs arent walking down the corridor late at night and early morning as this disturbed our dog and baby

Just returned from a 1 night stay in one of Wheal Tor's glamping pods. The location is brilliant with amazing countryside views. On arrival we checked in by a very pleasant young lady who showed us to our pod. She explained where all the facilities were and how to operate the heating etc. We pre- booked breakfast which is exceptionally good value and fantastic quality. I can definitely recommend a full English. All the staff are very helpful and pleasant and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning and can recommend Wheal Tor. Thank you for our lovely stay😊

I stayed here for two nights and was really impressed with the room and the service. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. I was here for a wake and the buffet provided by Wheal Tor was delicious and plentiful.

A great place to base yourself to explore the moorland around Caroden hill with spectacular views across to Kit hill and Dartmoor. Be aware that the track to the location can be very rough, which adds to the charm of the place
