Downhouse Cottage is a stone-built property in rural Cornwall, sleeping four across two bedrooms and one bathroom. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, making it straightforward to self-cater for a week. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the cottage also has a woodburner, and central heating is available October to May. There is private parking for two cars on site.
The ground floor holds a living room with Freeview TV and the kitchen/dining space. Upstairs, one bedroom has a double bed and the other two singles. The bathroom includes a bath with shower. Outside, there is a garden with seating and a barbecue. One dog is welcome to stay free of charge and can use the field for exercise. The cottage is set within a mile of the beach, and the South West Coastal Path is within walking distance. Tintagel, Boscastle and Port Isaac are easily reached by car for a day out. No smoking inside.

We werent blessed with the best weather and can only imagine how star gazing and sunsets in the lovely garden would of been. Place is good and quiet, has own parking. Shower is quite small not really for tall people. the house is great for vintage lovers as it has all the old furniture and accessories.

lovely location nice and peaceful very strangely, we were asked for money towards the heating that we never put on after the very first day . we questioned it but booking. com didn't help . it left us feeling uneasy that we might get a bill later .

The location was second to none and the coastal path right by the cottage was brilliant if you've taken the dogs on holiday. The sofas need changing, they are really uncomfortable. Also the toilet flush doesn't work, we've had to fill the cistern with 4litres of water everytime it was used for the whole week, John has tried to get a plumber but to no avail. The double bed was extremely comfortable.
