East Rose - Shippen

East Rose - Shippen is a one-bedroom conversion of a stone barn, part of a small cluster of holiday cottages on the western edge of Bodmin Moor. The building retains original features—exposed timbers and stone walls—alongside modern essentials. Everything is on the ground floor: open-plan living and dining space, kitchen with electric cooking facilities, a bedroom with a king-size bed, and a wet room with shower.

The cottage comes with wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels included. You have parking on site and access to a garden with seating area. One dog is welcome. The grounds extend across four acres of natural landscape with additional sitting-out areas, shared barbecue facilities and a private lake system for fishing, about 100 yards away. An Environment Agency rod licence is required to fish. The location puts you within reach of Wadebridge, Padstow and Port Isaac, with the North Cornish coast and plenty of walking country nearby.

No smoking. There is a fenced lake in the grounds.
