The North Cornwall coast draws families and couples seeking quieter stretches away from the busier resorts. Fernbank sits on the edge of this landscape as a detached property with the benefit of a large private garden, parking for four cars, and sea views from the upper floor. The house is arranged over three levels in an unusual layout that takes some navigation—steep stairs connect the floors—but this design maximises the sense of space and light throughout.
Three bedrooms and three bathrooms serve six guests. Upstairs, the open-plan living and dining room opens via bi-fold doors onto a substantial balcony overlooking the garden; the kitchen has an induction hob, oven, dishwasher and the usual equipment for cooking. Downstairs sits a games room with books and a television, useful for rainy afternoons. The bedrooms contain a super kingsize, a kingsize and a double bed. Linen, towels, heating and wifi are provided, along with parking and a back garden with seating.
The property does not suit families with children under five, partly because of the steep stairs and partly because a stream runs beside the garden. No smoking is permitted indoors. The Ship Inn lies nearby for evening meals.
