Hawthorne House works well for families, groups of friends, or couples seeking a base near Newquay's beaches. The three bedrooms—a double on the ground floor, a double with ensuite on the second floor, and a twin room—give flexibility for different group configurations, and there are three bathrooms across the property. A private balcony runs from the first-floor living space, and a rear garden with seating overlooks the quieter side of Porth.

The ground floor holds one of the doubles and a shower room. Upstairs, an open-plan kitchen and dining area connects to the lounge; the kitchen has a full range of appliances for self-catering, and doors open onto the balcony. The second floor contains the remaining bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath and shower. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Parking for two cars is on site.
