The Lizard Peninsula's quiet villages and headland walks surround Journeys End, a two-bedroom cottage positioned near Coverack Headland. A short walk reaches Meers Beach, while the Southwest Coastal Path runs through the area—the village of Coverack itself, with its harbour and sandy beach, is within easy reach on foot. The landscape here is largely unspoiled, with country walks branching inland past local amenities.
The cottage contains a ground-floor living and dining room opening onto a garden with seating, plus a kitchen equipped for self-catering. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one double, one with bunk beds—and a shower room. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, and there is parking for two cars on site. The property is non-smoking.
This location suits couples and small families drawn to coastal scenery and walking. Nearby attractions include Goonhilly Downs with its satellite dishes, The Lizard lighthouse at England's southernmost point, and Roskilly's working organic dairy farm. Helston is under 12 miles away for larger shops and services.

What guests say
Avoid "Journeys End" in Coverack! If you are thinking of staying at Journeys End in Coverack, save your money and look elsewhere. What should have been a relaxing coastal getaway turned into an uncomfortable, unhygienic, and deeply disappointing experience. Key Issues: Hostile & Unprofessional Owner: When concerns were raised, the owner responded with extreme hostility, sending abusive messages calling us "dirty disgusting people," threatening to blast our name "far and wide," and stating they regretted not kicking us out the first time we complained. The level of customer service is appalling and downright unacceptable. Hygiene & Pest Problems: Upon arrival, we found piles of what appears to be pest droppings accumulated in corner areas, which is completely unacceptable for paid accommodation. Lack of Maintenance & Water Damage: The property suffers from clear neglect. There is noticeable dampness and peeling, flaking paint along the skirting boards and walls. The exterior entrance is in equally poor condition, with rusting utility boxes and severely chipped, flaking paint on the step. Dirty Bathrooms: The plumbing fixtures and toilet were uncleaned and stained, showing a complete lack of basic housekeeping prior to guest check-in. Noisy & Loose Furniture: Good luck getting a restful night's sleep. The metal bed frame is completely loose, rattling, and creaks loudly at even the slightest touch. Poor Finishes: The decor feels neglected—down to cheap artificial flowers tied with visible zip ties. Overall, the property suffers from serious upkeep issues, poor cleanliness standards, and a complete lack of attention to detail. Would not recommend or return.
