Tamarisk is part of a former Edwardian hotel, refurbished and converted into holiday apartments on the Lizard Peninsula. The building occupies Chynhalls Point within grounds that slope down to a private sandy beach, with views across the water and access to coastal footpaths. All three bedrooms and the bathroom are on the first floor, arranged around an open-plan living space that holds a kitchen, dining area and sitting room.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and full-sized fridge and freezer, so you can self-cater properly. Three bedrooms sleep six: one with a king-size bed, one with two singles, and one with bunks. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included, and there's a utility room with coin-operated washers and dryers. The grounds contain a shared tennis court and garden furniture; a path leads down to Coverack fishing village, roughly half a mile away, which has restaurants, a pub and a choice of beaches for swimming and water sports. The Lizard is known for rare plants and birds, and quieter coves are scattered along the coast. No smoking inside. The grounds include a pond and steep drops, so families with young children should supervise carefully. One pet is welcome.
