Kataluma

Germoe is a quiet village in far west Cornwall, positioned between Penzance and the Lizard Peninsula. Praa Sands sits just a mile away—a long sandy beach with a pub, restaurant and golf course. The village itself is small and peaceful; a shop and pub are within a mile, a restaurant two miles. From here, the north coast's famous surfing beaches and St Ives are as accessible as the tranquil sailing waters of the south, and Lands End lies within an easy drive.

Kataluma is a two-bedroom detached cottage with its own entrance and garden. Both bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms; one has a double bed, the other two singles that zip together into a double. Downstairs is an open-plan living space with a kitchen area equipped for proper cooking, and bi-fold doors opening onto a decked patio and lawned garden. Parking for two cars is on site. One well-behaved dog can stay at no extra cost. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and utilities are included; you'll find a welcome pack on arrival and a freezer in an outbuilding for extra storage.

The area suits couples and small families year-round. Walking trails, bird watching, coastal paths, water sports and golf are all nearby. Helston, famous for its Flora Day festival each May, Porthleven's busy harbour and the Isles of Scilly (reachable by boat or plane from Penzance) are day-trip options. No smoking inside the property.
